The hotel continues to evolve, reaffirming its position as a progressive property that adjusts to each new era. The hotel has and will always be, on The Edge. The Edgewater has welcomed numerous celebrities throughout the years, perhaps the most famous of whom were The Beatles. Staying at the hotel during their first world tour in 1964 they were rushed back to the hotel after the show in an ambulance, while taxi cabs and stand-ins were used as decoys. The Fab Four fished from the window of room 272, the photograph of which has become famous. Since then, the hotel has accommodated many iconic rock bands including Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones. |

Partial Elliott Bay View, Partial Cityside. Gas Fireplace. Glass Surround Shower. One of the most unique views in Seattle! Facing south west, these 350 square foot partial view rooms offer glimpses of downtown Seattle, Qwest and Safeco Fields, the cruise ship terminal and, of course, sparkling Elliott Bay. If the skies are clear, you may even get to see Mt. Rainer! While you are taking in the sights, enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee, or Tazo tea and bask in the glow of your gas fireplace. If your travels have been long, take some time in your glass surround shower to wash away the day. After you have explored the city, come back to your room and sit in one of the cozy overstuffed chairs and prop your weary feet up on the fluffy bear ottoman that is of course if you are able to resist your cozy bed made up with Egyptian cotton sheets. Relax by the gas fireplace with your complimentary Starbucks coffee or take your time getting ready in your newly renovated bathroom with slate flooring, marble countertop and glass surround shower. Completing this charming room are a gas fireplace, sitting chair, and queen size bed (two double beds may be requested. Bed type is subject to availability at check in).

Making this room the pinnacle of relaxation is the newly remodeled bathroom. Slate flooring, a marble countertop, a glass surround shower, and an old-fashioned claw foot slipper tub. The bathroom greets the bedroom with two sliding French doors so you can see the view, the fireplace, or even watch a movie from your bathtub! Or keep the doors closed, dim the lights and just enjoy your quiet time. Once you are thoroughly relaxed, crawl into your king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and let the day melt away.
