Oceanview
Oceanview rooms provide views of the Atlantic Ocean over protective, scenic sand dunes from private porches. Rooms are spaciously appointed with king beds, wet bars, refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. Comfort is provided with plush robes, custom toiletries, beach towels, spa sound clock-radios, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, make-up mirrors and bedside flashlights for use during your stay. Oceanview rooms are located in all three Inns- North, Main and South. There are a limited number of Oceanview rooms with extra long twin beds or sleeper sofas.
Soundview
Soundview rooms provide views of the Currituck Sound over protective, scenic sand dunes or landscaped lawns from private porches. Rooms are spaciously appointed with king beds, wet bars, refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. Comfort is provided with plush robes, custom toiletries, beach towels, spa sound clock-radios, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, make-up mirrors and bedside flashlights for use during your stay. Soundview rooms are located in two Inns- North and Main. There are a limited number of Soundview rooms with extra long twin beds or sleeper sofas.

Comfort is provided with plush robes, custom toiletries, beach towels, spa sound clock-radios, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, make-up mirrors and bedside flashlights for use during your stay. Nonview rooms are located in two Inns- North and Main. There are a limited number of nonview rooms with extra long twin beds or sleeper sofas.
Suites
Suites provide views of the Atlantic Ocean or Currituck Sound over protective, scenic sand dunes from private porches. Suites are spaciously appointed with king beds, sleeper sofas, wet bars, refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. Comfort is provided with plush robes, custom toiletries, beach towels, spa sound clock-radios, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, make-up mirrors and bedside flashlights for use during your stay. Suites are located in two Inns- Main and South. There are a limited number of suites with extra long twin beds. The size of suites make them suitable for accommodating more than two people.
Three Bedroom Cottage
Cottages are located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac south of the South Inn building. The three bedroom cottages sleep eight, including use of the sofa sleeper in the living area. Cottage amenities include washer, dryer, full kitchen facilities, complete CD sound system, combination TV/VCR, Jacuzzi bath, outdoor shower, covered parking and porches with seating overlooking the Currituck Sound (perfect for sunset viewings). There are no busy streets to cross for direct ocean access. Initial breakfast provisions are provided. There is daily trash and towel pick-up. Full housekeeping service is provided every fourth day. Accelerated services can be provided at an additional expense.
Four Bedroom Cottage
Cottage is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac south of the South Inn building. The four bedroom cottage sleeps ten, including use of the sofa sleeper in the living area. Cottage amenities include washer, dryer, full kitchen facilities, complete CD sound system, combination TV/VCR, jacuzzi bath, outdoor shower, covered parking and porches with seating overlooking the Currituck Sound (perfect for sunset viewings). Accelerated services can be provided at an additional expense. The four bedroom cottage has an elevator.
Captains Suite
The Presidential Suite is on the top floor of The Conference Center. It features an oversized living room with galley kitchen and oversized bedroom. With decks on both the ocean side and the sound side, viewing is perfect for both sunrises and sunsets. There is a king bed in the bedroom and a twin sleeper sofa in the living room. There are one and a half baths.
Pine Island Hunt Club Clubhouse
The historic Hunt Club Clubhouse is located three miles north of The Sanderling Inn and Spa. It is secluded, private and on the last unspoiled acreage of the Outer Banks. Rustic and charming, it is reminiscent of times past. The Clubhouse has five bedrooms, all with twin beds. The Hunt Club has three large indoor gathering rooms. Outside, the Club is adjacent to a 3,400 acre Audubon Sanctuary providing some of the best bird watching on the Eastern Shoreline. The Hunt Club is soundside with boating access, fishing piers and peace and quiet. The Hunt Club is perfect for retreats, reunions or laid-back get togethers. All on-premise cooking must be done by the Club's personal cook. Meals must be arranged in advance and there will be additional charges depending on the number of people in the group and what menus are selected.
Pine Island Hunt Club Cottage
Located on The Pine Island Hunt Club property, three miles north of The Sanderling Resort and Spa, the one bedroom cottage features a living area, full kitchen and loft with sleeper sofa. These rustic, remote accommodations do not provide traditional resort amenities but do provide a tranquil, unique get a way location. There are two one bedroom cottages and they can be rented either with the Pine Island Hunt Club Clubhouse or independently.
