Property Description
At Lakeview B&B, we are privileged to offer the community and those visiting or passing through a unique opportunity to stay in elegantly decorated rooms, and savor the tranquil loveliness of Castle Rock Lake. The panorama is ever-changing with the seasons, and the colors constantly fluctuate from the rosy hues of sunrise, to brilliant deep summer blue, to mellow sunset mauves. The property is pleased to offer a desk, color TV, and clock radio in each room. The guest parlor area includes cathedral ceiling, guest phone line, fireplace, 32-in. TV/VCR, fine film library, and panoramic view of the lake from the sitting or dining area and from our spacious balcony. Full gourmet breakfast including juice or fruit, hot entree of the day or cereal, homemade rolls and/or muffins, and hot beverages is served each morning, as well as evening refreshments. It is with joy that we open our home to our guests - endeavoring to make them feel comfortable in our 'home away from home,' as well as respecting their need for privacy. Castle Room - Step into another time and place as you ascend the stairs to our most elegant room. Decorated in rick burgundy and gold, subtly combining medival with modern luxury. Dream of your valiant knight or gentle maiden in a gorgeously carved and delicately-turned 4-poster mahogany queen bed. Softly lit with lovely stained glass lamps or wall-sconced candles. Private balcony for intimate dining and/or viewing the peaceful panoramic beauty of Castle Rock Lake. A newlyweds, celebrating a second honeymoon or a uniquely refreshing retreat for one. Seashore Room - When you enter this room, it isn't hard to envision a seashore landscape. The cool and gentle breeze coming off of the lake helps transport your imagination to ocean vistas and finds reminiscent of a day of beachcombing. Splashed with hues of sandy taupe, ocean blue and plum, you can't help but enjoy a soothing sleep in the carved oak queen sleigh bed. Varieties of seashells and prints of beach scenes enhance this
Western Room
Western Room - Living in the Wild Wild West inspired us to have a room featuring the Western lifestyle. To spend a night in this room almost makes you want to shout 'yahoo'. Two very comfortable queen beds allow considerably more comfortable sleep than the dusty trail blanket and saddle! Quiet and large, this room has its own private ground level deck, offering easy access to the walking path, pedal boat and rowboat. The room contains a private bathroom with shower. Western lifestlye is unique so...come on in and rest a spell.
Yellowstone Room
The Innkeeper has attempted to capture the diverse spirit of Yellowstone National Park and bring the feel of the outdoors into this specially designed Room. Decorated in forest hues of greens, browns and beiges, it possesses a woodsy feel with an amazing carved and âdistressedâ hardwood bed, cradling an incredibly comfortable 18â deep mattress!! The walls are graced with serene outdoor scenes of various wildlife, geothermal features, waterfalls, and gentle, watercolor landscapes, in addition to wildlife sculptures. The theme is carried over into the adjoining private bathroom, complete with a 2 person jetted whirlpool tub and beautiful, old fashioned style vanity with granite top. The Room includes a private entrance, cable TV/ VCR/ DVD, phone, refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, air conditioner, high-speed internet access, and other special amenities.
Woodland or Garden
Woodland Room - Decorated in gentle green and wooded hues. Peaceful sleep in a richly carved red oak queen bed, softly lit with stained glass lamps. Shares a bath with one other room. Garden Room - Like walking a path into a secret flower garden, complete with white wicker loveseat. Restful sleep in an exquisite golden oak queen bed, with detailed acorn and oak leaf carving. Shares a bath with one other room.
