A parking garage operated by the city is conveniently located directly behind the museum, on 8th Street. Some street parking is also available.

Left out of hotel parking lot, left onto Hurstbourne Pkwy. Proceed to I-64 West to I-264 West. Exit #14, Poplar Level Road. Right at end of ramp onto Poplar Level. Proceed 4 miles, right onto Trevillian Way. Zoo is approximately 2 miles on right.

Left onto Hurstbourne Pkwy, to I-64 West to I-264 North. Exit St. Matthews onto Shelbyville Road. Left into Mall next three entrances.
Six Flags/ Kentucky Kingdom
Turn left out of parking lot, left onto Hurstbourne Pkwy. Proceed to I-64 West, to I-264 West. Exit Crittenden Drive. Enter the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center through either Gate 4 or Gate 2 on Crittenden Drive and follow the signs to Kentucky Kingdom once on the Fair and Expo Center grounds.
