You can see the remains of the Buffalo Iron furnace, which was used to make the ammunition for the Union army during the civil war, visit the one room schoolhouse for a nostalgic view of history. Take a boat and enjoy the serenity of the lake, do some fishing and maybe even land a trophy bass. Bring your family and stay in our lodge or campground. Directions Tri-State Airport (HTS) West on I-64 to exit 172 -Grayson Exit-. Turn right off of the exit onto Rt. 1. Travel 18 miles and turn left onto 1711 and follow to lodge. Lexington Airport (LEX) East on I-64 to exit 172 -Grayson exit-. Turn left off the exit onto Rt. 1. Travel 18 miles left onto 1711 and follow to lodge. Ashland You can take U.S. 23 South to Rt. 1, travel 10 miles to turn right onto 1711. Follow to Lodge. Or take I-64 east to exit 172 -Grayson exit- and turn right onto Rt. 1. Travel 18 miles and turn left onto 1711 and follow to lodge. Lexington Go east on I-64 about 126 miles. Take 172 -Grayson exit- and turn left off the exit onto Rt.1. Travel 18 miles, turn left onto 1711 and follow to lodge.
