Location
North Star Continental Resort Hotel, surrounded by greenery, is ideally located in the heart of Timisoara, within easy access to the major touristy spots and the business & shopping areas. The Central Victoria place where the opera house, the orthodox cathedral and the beautiful secession style buildings are located, its just 250 metres southeast away from the hotel. You can walk either crossing the park behind the hotel or directing west and then south, along the main shopping streets. Taking the opposite direction some 200m to the northwest, you will reach the charming "Dome Square". With its well preserved XVII century buildings, the Baroque Monument of the Holy Trinity and the impressive Catholic Church. It is the right place to shop for antiquities, to taste mineral water from an ancient well or sit on a terrace surrounded by pigeons. |
