Located in the city centre, in the Financial district, surrounded by the mos timportant shopping centres such as Monumental and El Corte Ingles. The Rea lPalacio Hotel is served by all public transports, like Sao Sebastiao subway station at sw and Picoas subway station at nw, the bus 115 and 46 in Antoni oAugusto de Aguiar Av. and 44, 45, 83 and 91 in Republica Av. goes directly to the old city. In the Old City at more or less 2 km from the Hotel, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city from the S.Jorge Castle or in Bairro Alto area from the Sao Pedro de Alcantara garden. The Adega Machado The first and one of the most touristy fado houses, this is still a good place to hear traditional Portuguese music. It functions as a restaurant, but at 9:15 pm the lights are dimmed and everybody hushes to listen to the various singers.
