Villa la Massa is a fascinating Medicean dwelling on the outskirts of Firenze. Built in the 16th century by the Landini family, successful publishers. In 1778 was owned by the Rinuccinis family very well known having had children who were ambassadors, writers and senators. Subsequently has been home to Hombert and several aristocratic Italian, English and Russian families. In 1948 was turned into a luxury hotel by the Searl.
