Dating back to the early 19th Century, once home to the Barons Montidella Corte (whose family represented the union of two noble lines: The Dove of The Monti and The Lion of The Della Corte), Villa Le Scale is one of the few Caprian Villas of the era still intact. The present owner, a distinguished antiquarian and art collector, has painstakingly restored the villa and due to the quality of the workmanship and the superb interior decoration, inspired by the themes of art and travel, this historical residence retains all it's charm. Villa Le Scale is located near the house turned museum of the swedish author Axel Munthe, in Anacapri, at the heart of the Island above the Maddening Crowd but still overflowing with charm. Just off the main square in Anacapri, Villa Le Scale is a short 15 minute taxi ride from the Marina Grande in Capri. You can reach Capri by ferry or hydrofoil from either Naples or Sorrento. Transportation from Naples is available either at the Port of Mergellina or Molo Beverello. |

The Voyager Room
Rare artifacts and souvenirs brought back from voyages to Asia and South America create an exotic atmosphere in this room. From the large four poster bed, hung with beautiful light coloured drapes you can enjoy a sea view from the spacious terrace.
The Collectors Room
Once, the master bedroom, the room still houses a collection of 1700s Neapolitan paintings which form a backdrop to the beautiful fabrics that drape the bed. There is a spacious bathroom with jacuzzi and you can enjoy garden sea views from the terrace.
The Empire Room
The Empire Room is part of the new Garden Complex adjacent to the pool area with a marble Empire bathtub in the sunlit bedroom near the queen-size bed. There is a dressing area with shower, walk-in closet and a patio where you can relax in the sun.
The Venetian Room
The highlight of this impressive room is the 18th century Venetian bookcase, king bed, large Turkish bath crafted in Scagliola and An exquisite marble table, just perfect to enjoy breakfast. Also enjoy the enchanting flower decked terrace with sea view.
The Louis XVI Room
An exquisite Louis XVI boiserie panels an entire wall and inspires the name of this sumptuous room with a large four-poster bed. The bathroom is in Scagliaola and has a plunge pool. The charming terrace looks out over the delicately perfumed garden.
The Artist Room
The frescos in the Artist Room, inspired by the era of the Marchigiana bookcase are the work of well-known artist Enrica Capone.A splendid bathroom in white marble mosaic with two antique washbasins dating back to the 18th century complete the furnishing.
The Pool Room
The Pool Room is part of the new Garden Complex which is adjacent to the pool area. It is a large room with double bed and large sitting area. The marble bathroom contains a sky-lit walk-in plunge pool and there is a semi-secluded patio off the pool area.
The Garden Suite
Adjacent to the pool area with two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a marble Empire bathtub next to the queen-size bed. The other bedroom a double bed, sitting area and marble bathroom with walk-in plunge pool. There is also a rooftop sundeck with sea view.
